AS2 - Task One - Choosing the track/gaining permission

The track we are looking to use for our music video is called 'Castle' by the singer Halsey. The reason we have picked this song for our music video is because we felt that this song has so much emotion into it that when we listen to it was can picture our own music video play out within our heads and we all agreed that it would be the perfect track to use for a music video.

Here are the screen shots that I have taken from my personal twitter of me asking if we could use the artists song for our music video. All of us together have messaged her about 4 times through twitter (twice from me and twice from my partner for the music video) and we have still waiting for confirmation to see if the artist would be okay with her track being used through out our music video. It is always important to ask for permission to use someones song within your videos because if you have not done that you can be done for copy right and can be fined for using something that is not yours and you are taking credit for.
