AS2 - Task Five - Final Music Video

This is my final edited music Video. To do my music video I used premiere Pro. I worked with Sarah and Talha for the shooting of the shots that are seen but we edited our own versions of our music videos.

The story behind our music video is that the actress is meant to be a girl who everyone seems to talk about and they seem to be wanting to make her queen but the old man (The King) isn't impressed with the fact that they want to replace him with her so he refuses to step down so the actress steps in and takes the thrown for herself.

With my music video I downloaded the song that we had chosen off of youtube and cut out the bit that was not needed as the song was to long to begin with.

Once that was done I Began to add in the shots that I wanted for the music video. Once I had chosen the shots and pictures that I wanted, I began editing them. I made sure that the lip syncing fitted in well with the song so when the actress was lip syncing along with the music it did not look like she was out of time. I also used moving image of candles going around in a circle to give a more dramatic effect to the video.

I used the razor tool to cut down shoots that were to long or to cut out parts that I did not want in the video.

I used a lot of fading in and outs to give the video some effect. I also used the fading so that two shots were playing at the same time. I also used still images that we took and one that I used from the internet at the end and placed them into the video. To do the fading outs I used the pen tool to mark out where the fading should start and when the fading should stop.

AS2 - Task Four Pre-Production Planning

Here are the Pre-Production plans that had to be filed out before I went and began to film for the music video.

Here is the picture of the actual story board that me and group has planed out together so that we have an idea for what we want to do for the music video.

Here is the animatic of our story board so that you can see clearer of our step by step stages of what we have planed for the music video and how the music video is going to go.

Proposal
Prepared by
Shauna Marks

Me and my group are going to be making a music video for the artist ‘Halsey’ and her song called ‘Castle’. When Making this video we will need to find an actress and then we will need to pay out for the costumes and the equipment.
We will need to make sure that we do not go over our budget for the video and that we need to be very careful with all the equipment so that it won’t break when we are out filming.
Once we have done the filming and have all the shots that we will need, we will then edit the music video in three different ways because of there being three of us in a group so that we will all have our own finished edited version of the music video.
